CONSTANTINE ANNOUNCES PROBABLES FOR IRAN GAME

Indian National Team's coach Stephen Constantine has announced a list of 28 probables for India's 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Iran on 8th September. The team will assemble in Pune on 23rd August, where they will play a friendly against Nepal as a preparatory game for the aforesaid game. This will be Nepal's first match against any team after the devastating earth quake in May that killed more than 10000 people.

The list of probables throws out a few surprises with Karanjit Singh, who was bought by Chennaiyin FC in ISL auction, making a comeback. Another Goalkeeper, Arindam Bhattacharya, who was out of the team due to injury has also made a comeback.

Reagen Singh, Gurwinder Singh and Augistine Fernandes will be missing from the defensive department as Aiborlang Khongjee, Narayan Das and Pritam Kotal making the cut.

Mid-field may also see some new faces with Pranoy Halder, Brandon Fernandes and Rowlin Borges making it to the list of probables. Another surprise comes in the form of Romeo Fernandes who has also made it to the list. Constantine omitted him from the last two games giving the reason of his lack of match practice during his stint at Brazilian Side, Atletico Paranaense. Mandar Rao Desai will be the sole absentee from mid field from the last game. The strikers department remains unchanged.
