Shillong Lajong will start their campaign in I-League against Mumbai FC at home on 10th January. East Bengal FC will take on Sporting Clube de Goa in an away game at Fatorda Stadium on 10th. DSK Shivajians, who got a direct entry into the league, wont play their 1st game until the 2nd round and will make their debut on 17th against Sporting Clube de Goa in an away game.

The League will have 18 rounds and will conclude on 24th April with four games being played on the  same day. The League will stop for an international break from 14th march till 31st march during which India will play her World Cup Qualifier against Iran and Turkmenistan.

The marquee clash of the season, the Kolkata Derby, will be played on 23rd January with Mohun Bagan as the home team at Salt Lake Stadium. The return leg will be played on 2nd April with East Bengal using Barasat Stadium as their home ground.

The timing of the matches are yet to be announced and currently all the matches are shown to Kick Off at Mid night. A few anomalies were also found in the schedule. Aizawl FC's home game against Mumbai FC was shown to be on 20th December, but was corrected later. Also the points table has East Bengal and Mohun Bagan twice making it an 11 team league. This anomaly is yet to be rectified on the website.
