MIZORAM PREMIER LEAGUE R6: ROUND UP

The Indian League brings you the updates from Round 6 of 2015 Mizoram Premier League.

MATCH 21: LUANGMUAL FC v ZO UNITED FC

Luangmual FC, which suffered a 7-0 thrashing from the hands of defending Champions, Aizawl FC, managed a draw against Zo United FC. ZUFC, who are currently at the bottom of the table and have lost three consecutive matches, would be more than happy with the result.

Luangmual FC took the lead early in the game, when Lalliansanga scored in the 8th minute. LFC managed to hold onto their lead till the Half Time. Lalnuntluanga equalised for Zo United FC in the 69th minute to level the scores. The scorecard remained the same at the final whistle and the game ended in a draw.

MATCH 22: CHANMARI WEST FC v BETHLEHEM VENGTHLANG FC

In the second match of the day, Chanmari West FC hosted 2015 Mizoram FA Super Cup Winners, Bethlehem Vengthlang FC.

CWFC took the lead in the 14th minute thanks to a goal by Lalbiakhlua. BVTFC were quick in response and cancelled the opposition's lead 5 minutes later by a goal from K Lalhathanga. 

Double Strike by MS Dawngliana in the 50th and 60th minute for BVT FC, gave his team an unassailable lead against the opposition.

MATCH 23: DINTHAR FC v CHANMARI FC

Dinthar FC continue their dream run in MPL 2015. After defeating defending Champions, Aizawl FC and drawing against Bethlehem Vengthlang FC in the previous two games, Dinthar FC out class another strong team, Chanmari FC. 

A 76th minute goal by DFC player Lalramliana was the only one scored in the match and was enough to defeat Chanmari FC.

MATCH 24: MIZORAM POLICE v AIZAWL FC

In the last match of Round 6, Mizoram Police FC took on the defending Champions and Table Toppers, Aizawl FC.

The Defending Champions took an early lead when the Liberian, Alfred Jayran opened the account for his team in the 8th minute. AFC maintained their One Goal lead at half time.

Mizoram Police equalised in the 66th minute. Alfred scored his second goal of the match and regained the lead for AFC in the 81st minute. The score card reamained the same at final whistle and Aizawl FC registered their 5th win in 6 games.
