INDIAN TEAM ANNOUNCED FOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIER GAME AGAINST GUAM

Indian National Team's Head Coach, Stephen Constantine has announced a 25-man Squad for the crucial World Cup Qualifying match against Guam. The match will be played at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru on November 12 and will have a kick off at 07:00 PM.

Yet again there won't be any practice camp before the match as ISL franchisees will release their players 4 days before the match, as per FIFA rules. The team will assemble at Bengaluru on November 8.

GOAL KEEPERS:

SUBRATA PAUL, GURPREET SINGH SANDHU, KARANJIT SINGH, LAXMIKANT KATTIMANI

FC Goa's Laxmikant Kattimani is the only addition to the goal keeping squad with the remaining GKs retaining their spot in the team. It many though seem unusual to have four Goal Keepers for a single fixture that too at home.

DEFENDERS:

ARNAB MONDAL, SANDESH JHINGAN, AIBORLANG KHONGJEE, LALCHHUANMAWIA, NARAYAN DAS, PRITAMKOTAL, AUGUSTINE FERNANDES, ROBIN GURUNG.

Bengaluru FC and Atletico de Kolkata's star defender Rino Anto has been excluded from the squad along with Mohun Bagan and Chennaiyin FC player Dhanachandra Singh. ATK's Augustine Fernandes and NEUFC's Robing Gurung also gets a spot. Rest of the Defence players retain their places.

MID-FIELDERS:

EUGENESON LYNGDOH,CAVIN LOBO, SEHNAJ SINGH, PRONOY HALDER, FRANCIS FERNANDES, ROWLING BORGES, ROMEO FERNANDES, BIKASH JAIRU, HARMANJOT SINGH KHABRA

Romeo Fernandes and Harmanjot Singh Khabra make comeback to the National squad but Jackichand Singh, despite having a decent outing with FC Pune City in ISL, finds himself out oftheteam.

FORWARDS:

SUNIL CHHETRI, ROBIN SINGH, JEJE LALPEKHLUA, HOLICHARAN NAZARAY

The striker department remains the same with the addition of Holicharan Nazaray being the only change.

HEAD COACH: Stephen Constantine.

Indian team that is on a five match losing spree may have their best chance at a win against Guam. Though the Blue Tigers lost their away game against the same team, but with players getting much needed game time in ISL and playing under home conditions can be a huge boost for the players.

Indian Football Fans who had been behind their team through thick and thin would also be expecting their team to end the losing streak and get revenge for the away loss.
