MB Starting XI(1st Half): Monotosh Ghosh, Chinta Chandrasekhar, Deepak Devrani, Bikramjit Singh Jr., Sarthak Golui, Prabir Das, Robinson Singh, Pankaj Moula, Kean Lewis, Azharuddin Mallick, Darryl Duffy.
Minutes after start of play, Azharuddin missed a sitter. From Kean Lewis' corner, Deepak Devrani's header fell on the path of Azharuddin who blasted the shot over from close range. Darryl Duffy was guilty of missing an easy chance. From Kean's inch-perfect cross, Prabir Das' header ricocheted off the post. The loose ball went to unmarked Darryl Duffy whose lob went over the crossbar. Getting a pass from Pankaj, Darryl Duffy tried his luck with an angular shot that narrowly missed the target.
1-0 - Darryl Duffy scored the opening goal when he flicked the ball in from Kean's well measured cross.
2-0 - Kean took a short corner, played a wall pass with Duffy and took an angular shot that bulged the far corner of the net. It was a brilliant goal scored by Kean Lewis.
3-0 - From Azharuddin's pass, Darryl Duffy made a good solo run before taking a shot that went to the back of the net past the outstretched hands of the keeper.
Prabir Das and Pankaj Moula were unlucky as a couple of shots taken by them went inches over the target. The shot taken by Pankaj Moula, in particular, had a lot of power behind it and the goalkeeper did not have a chance to even move.
MB XI (2nd Half) - Shibenraj Singh, Sarthak Golui, Bikramjit Singh, Sanjay Balmuchu, Tanmoy Ghosh, Prabir Das, Robinson Singh, Raynier Fernandes, Tapan Maity, Pankaj Moula, Ajay Singh.
Agiapal Singh, Ashim Dey, Sourav Das, Babul Biswas, Dhananjay Yadav, C. L. Ruata, Amandeep Singh and Simranjit Singh also came as substitutes in the 2nd half.
4-0 - Ajay Singh made a good run down the left flank, dribbling past 2 players before setting the ball up for Tapan Maity whose right-footed shot bulged the net past the stranded keeper.
5-0 - It was a lucky goal scored by Pankaj Moula, after his header went up in the air and the keeper missed the flight. The ball hit the inside of the post and went in.
6-0 - C. L. Ruata made an excellent run, made room for himself inside the box but his push got saved by the keeper. Babul Biswas did not make any mistake to place the rebound ball inside the net.
7-0 - From C. L. Ruata's inch-perfect cross, Ajay Singh's powerful header crashed into the net.
8-0 - Getting a brilliant long pass from Dhananjay Yadav, moving up from his right back position, Tanmoy Ghosh nicely anticipated the ball, got past a couple of defenders, dribbled past the keeper and placed his shot inside the goal.
Mohun Bagan will be playing their next practice match on Wednesday.
