Indian Football Team registered a drop of 2 places in FIFA Rankings released on March 9 and now occupy 132nd spot in FIFA Rankings.
This is the second consecutive drop in FIFA Rankings of Blue Tigers in last two months as they lost 11 ranking points.
India continues to be highest ranked among SAFF Countries with Maldives being next on 140th spot. Nepal (170), Bhutan (177), Bangladesh (193), Sri Lanka (197) and Pakistan (198) complete the roster.
India's opponent in 2018 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers also registered drop in Rankings as Kyrgyz Republic down by 1 place to 125th. Myanmar lost 30 points and fell to 172nd Rank. Macau managed to retain their 184th Rank.
Iran continues to maintain their position as the highest ranked team in Asian Football Confederation as they occupy 33rd position followed by Korea Republic (40) and Japan (51).
