NEROCA FC CONTINUE TO BUILD SQUAD FOR I-LEAGUE

I-League 2nd Division Champions have announced the signing of former India International, Gourmangi Singh and Haiti International, Jean Francis Fabien Vorbe for the upcoming season.

The 31-year old defender from Imphal, nicknamed as the Tank, is a product of the famous Tata Football Academy and started his career with Dempo SC in 2004. In his 13 year long career, he has won all the trophies on offer in Indian Football namely National Football League and Federation Cup with Mahindra United 2005/06). 

His most successful stint came with Churchill Brothers, with whom he won 1 I-League title, 2 IFA Shields and 2 Durand Cups. He was adjudged as the Best Defender of 2008/09 I-League Season.

He last played for DSK Shivajians in I-League while on loan from ISL side, FC Pune City.

Haitian International Fabien Vorbe also joins Neroca FC as the 4th foreign player. The Imphal based club has already roped in Felix Chidi, Kallon Varney and Aryn Williams for the season.

The 27-year old midfielder was part of Haiti Team in 2007 U17 FIFA World Cup in South Korea. He was twice on the score sheet in the qualifying tournament. His professional career started with a local club, Violette FC in 2005. He has played for clubs in USA, Sweden and Peru.

He made his senior International debut in 2010 against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Caribbean Championship.
