Ramhlun North FC gave themselves hopes of reaching the semi-finals after holding league leaders Chhinga Veng FC to a 1-1 draw.

A stoppage equaliser goal from Lalliansanga ensured that RNFC went home with a point. An even match up saw few clear cut chances as both teams seem to cancel each other out before reaching the final third.

Ramhlun North FC had sniffs of the goal through Rosangliana and new signing John Kweku Ampong. And Vanlallawma went close at the other end for Chhinga Veng FC.

The deadlock was finally broken in the second half when a fine delivery from Laldinliana was finished off by Lalrammuanpuia.

Chhinge Veng FC could have doubled their lead later on when an effort from Hmingthanmawia struck the bar. And they were made to rue their missed opportunity right at the end with Lalliansanga scoring an equaliser for Ramhlun North FC.

Ramhlun North FC's Liberian defender Korhena was named man of the match.
