India entered this game after losing to Iran 3-0 on 18th and Team's Coach, Nikolai Adams wanted nothing less then a win in the match. A Hat-Trick by Suresh and goals from Komal and Amarjit and an Own goal by Lebanese Player helped India demolish Lebanon in AFC U16 Championship Qualifier.

Lebanese team mounted the first attack on Indian goal but the defence was alert enough to thwart any attempt on goal. Indian Colts then upped the ante and dominated most of the possession. India had their first shot at goal in the 18th minute when Komal tried to score from a long ranger only to be denied by the opposition custodian. Indian team opened the scoring in the 28th minute when a long ball from Amarjit found Suresh 25 Yards away from goal, who blasted the ball into the back of the net. India had another chance to double their lead in the first half, when Aman's header missed the goal by a whisker, following a Ninthoi's cross from the corner. The scores remained the same at Half Time with India leading by a Solitary Goal.

Indian Team continued their offensive game in the second half and mounted many attacks on the opposition goal but failed to find the net. Ninthoi slotted the ball at the back of the net in the 70th minute, only to be flagged offside by the linesman. It was in the 71st minute that the flood gate opened. Suresh converted from a One -Touch by Aman from close range, with the hapless custodian being only a bystander. To make matters worse, Lebanese player, Habibb scored an Own Goal to triple India's lead in the 76th minute. It went bad to worse for Lebanon when Komal and Amarjit scored in quick succession to make it 5-0 in India's favor. Adding to the misery of Lebanese team, Suresh scored in the dying moments of the game to complete, both his hat-trick and India's demolition of Lebanon.

India finished 2nd in the group with 6 points from 2 wins and 1 loss. India has already qualified for the AFC U16 Championship by virtue of being the hosts. The experience gained from this tour will be highly beneficial for the Indian Colts and help them prepare for their ultimate test, FIFA U16 World Cup to be held in India in 2017.
