MAJOR UPSET AT MIZORAM PREMIER LEAGUE

AIZAWL FC 1-2 DINTHAR FC
AFC: Brandon 6'
DFC: Tlangthanpuia 30'
           Lalkhawpuimawia 90'

Aizawl FC suffer shock defeat against Dinthar FC.

It was a match between a team that was at the top of the table and other team that was at its bottom and the result of the match proved it yet again why Football is said to be a game of uncertainty.

Aizawl FC who were on a 3 match winning spree were up against Dinthar FC, who were yet to register their first win in this year's Mizoram Premier League and with two losses and one draw in previous three games saw them at the bottom of the League Table.

The match played amid the scorching sun of Aizawl made it difficult for players to maintain the intensity and made it a dull affair. Aizawl FC started the game on an attacking note and opened the account in the 6th minute the AFC winger Brandon scored from a long ranger.

Aizawl FC tried to dictate the terms with wishful possession of the ball. Dinthar FC continued to counter attack and were rewarded in the 30th minute when Tlangthanpuia netted from the edge of the box to level the scores. The scored remained the same at Half Time.

Results of other Matches in Round 4:
