Bengaluru FC has signed Salam Ranjan Singh on a year long loan deal from Pune FC. Salam Ranjan Singh, a defender, has made 16 appearance for the Deccan outfit spread over two seasons.
Salam Ranjan Singh hails from Manipur and was scouted by Pune FC in 2010 from a local football tournament in Manipur. He was the part of Pune FC U19 team that won back to back U20 I League in 2012 & 2013. He was promoted to the senior team in the 2013/14 season.
Bengaluru FC gaffer, Ashley Westwood is quite happy with the signing and said, "We have signed a competitive Central defender who, we believe, has all the attributes to become a solid reliable defender and one that we can develop to strengthen our squad to make competition for places even tougher. He's a good lad with a good attitude and the type of player we want at our professional club."
The 19 Year old Manipuri has traveled to Pune with Bengaluru FC's squad where they will participate in DSK Cup and will have chance to face his Parent Club.
Bengaluru FC are placed in Group C along with Pune FC and Gangtok Himalayan SC and play their 1st game on 24th against Pune FC. The team will be managed by Assistant Coach, Pradyumn Reddy.
