First Match of Day 4 was in Group D between the Pune side Deccan Rovers FC and the institutional team from Kerala, State Bank of Travancore, who were playing their first game of the tournament.

Deccan Rovers who lost their 1st game against DSK Shivajians A team, were looking to register their first win and keep their hope alive in the tournament. But the team from Kerala had some different plans. They started the game aggressively and created many goal scoring opportunities from the start itself, only to be denied by the opposition goalkeeper.

Rovers had a golden chance to take the lead in the 27th minute but Sushil Shaikh missed it as the opposition custodian clearing the ball off his line. SBT took the lead in 36th minute when Martin John lobbed it over the goal keeper to land the ball in opposition's net. The score remained 1-0 in favour of SBT at Half Time.

Deccan Rovers opened the 2nd half on a positive note and tried to retain possession in the opposition's half. But SBT doubled their lead in the 54th minute when Sumesh scored off a grounded shot beating the keeper from just inside the box.

Rovers managed to reduce the margin in the 82nd minute thanks to goal by Lalnunpuia. Both sides tried to score towards the dying moments of the game but failed and the match ended with Deccan Rovers their second consecutive match and bowing out of the tournament.
