Kerala Blasters Coach Sacked!!!

Kerala Blasters have sacked their head coach, Peter Taylor, after only six games. Kerala Blasters currently occupy the bottom spot after losing 4 matches in a row. Assistant Coach, Trevor Morgan will take over as the head coach.

Peter Taylor, who has played most of his football in England and managed teams like Leicester City and England U20, was roped in by Kerala Blasters in the month of May amid much fan fare.

Though his campaign in ISL started on a good note with a 3-1 win in their opening game against Northeast United FC at their home ground. But things turned south from there on.Their next match against Mumbai City FC ended in a goalless draw, which was followed by 4 straight loss for the Kochi based team.

It is also being said that Peter Taylor was adamant with his method and was not ready to change even after a string of losses, which further irked the club management. Kerala Blasters are yet to officially announce their decision on their Facebook or Twitter handles.

Trevor James Morgan, who managed Kolkata Side, East Bengal for three years which included three consecutive Calcutta Football League titles and Qualification to  AFC Cup Semi Finals, will take over as the head coach. Kerala Blasters will be playing their next game on 31st October against Chennaiyin FC at home.
