It was a busy day in U18 I-League- Zonal Rounds with as many as four games were played across the country in different zones. Shillong Lajong hosted Guwahati FC in Shillong-Guwahati Zone, where as East Bengal hosted United Sports Club in Kolkata-Jamshedpur Zone. It was a double header in Goa Zone with Salgaocar FC taking on Sporting Clube de Goa and AIFF Elite Academy battling out against SAI Goa's U18 Team.

Shillong Lajong FC v Guwahati FC

Shillong Lajong Juniors defeat a spitired Guwahati FC 2-1 after being a goal down at Half Time. Guwahati FC, who are playing their first national level competition, took the lead in the 16th minute when Abhijit Tumung scored from an assist by Sudarshan Boro.
Lajong equalised in the 53rd minute when a thunderous strike by Mebankhraw found the back of the opposition's net. When it seemed that match will end in a draw, Lalthanmawia, gave Lajong the much needed lead in the 87th minute.
Guwahati FC players tried to break through the Lajong defence but were denied any chance and the match ended with Shillong based team taking home all three points.
