Armed forces teams ended their day with Army Green defeating Sporting Clube de Goa by 2-1. Army Green scored their first goal of the match in the 52nd minute via a penalty thanks to a hand ball by Loveday Enyinnaya inside the box. Army Men doubled their goal five minutes later.
Sporting Clube de Goa kept pushing for their opening goal but Army's defence held strong. Sporting reduced the margin in the 82nd minute when Marcus Mascarenhas's free kick was heaaded by Cajetan Fernandes into the net.
Sporting Club continued to push for the equalizer but it never came. The match ended with a scoreline of 2-1 in favour of Army Green.
