Even though his performance in the match earned him Man of the Match award, it was not enough to save the match for his team, as his team went down 2-0. Allwyn scored the first goal of his professional career against ONGC FC on 1st December 2012 to help Pailan Arrows win the match 4-1.

In October 2013, he signed for the Golden Eagles (Dempo SC for the uninitiated). .His debut for his new club came against the Kolkata Giant, Mohun Bagan AC on 1st November 2013 at Duler Stadium, when he substituted Peter Carvalho in the 46th minute. The game ended in a draw with none of the team being able to score. He was adjudged as the Best Young Indian Player of the season by FPAI.

Allwyn also represented FC Goa (On Loan from FC Goa) during 2014 Indian Super League, but mostly was on bench and only played two games.

Allwyn George will be hoping to improve under the tutelage of Ashley Westwood, who was instrumental in transformation of Eugeneson Lyngdoh, who made his India debut after playing for The Blues.
